Stepping Into Love

So many people seem to be going through major transitions in this world right — some that have seemed to be forced on them and others that they have chosen consciously. When I have done readings for people, it has become clear that people are stepping into a lot of unknowns right now which is adding to their fear and anxiety. The messages that I keep receiving to talk to people about are ones of stepping into the love (Christ love) and stepping out of the fear. In fact, I feel like I am being pushed to get this message out to as many people as possible. So many of people are being challenged with this so how do they do this?

There are many ways that people can choose to step into love. There are many teachers who come in the form of people, books, cd’s, etc. that people can learn from and from wherever they receive spiritual sustenance. They can do this using many tools, including meditation, reflection, etc. The important thing is that people realize that they can choose different ways and different methods to help them move towards to love and away fear.

Here in the United States, I have been listening to the different political parties blame each other for basically everything that is wrong in our society. It has led me to have thoughts on how much more successful the solving of these problems would be if the finger pointing stopped and they actually had an interest in solving the problems instead of looking good or whatever it is they think they accomplish by blame.

I have been reading the book “Healing the Soul of America” by Marianne Williamson and it has got me thinking about a lot of shifts that we as individual citizens can do to help change the status quo of fear and finger pointing. It takes us being willing to do our own work on ourselves and also becoming more active in voting and making our voices heard. This country was founded for the people and by the people, however, you would never know this now due to the apathy most of the citizens have shown by not even bothering to vote.

What kind of society do you want to live in? Do you realize you can make a difference by shifting your own attitudes and beliefs from fear to love? There are so many ways each of us can do this such as the “Course in Miracles” which is what Marianne Williamson teaches from, to ho’oponopono, to any type of belief work such as Resonance Repatterning, Theta Healing, PsyChi, NLP, etc.

I have been thinking about this quote a lot lately. I decided that I would like to see more love and forgiveness in myself and in society. One of the ways that I have decided to do this is by doing a weekly Resonance RepatterningTM group proxy session. If you wish to join in, you may just put your intent out there and you will be included by proxy. You can participate more actively by sending me statements you would like to see in the repatterning and I will check to see if they can be included in the repatterning. The first series will start next Monday and will be on the topic of forgiveness, both for self and for others. There is no charge for this, however, if you wish, you may do a love donation.

Love, Forgiveness and Gratitude

Yesterday, I was wishing I could start some kind of movement or that someone else would start it (it doesn’t matter who) that would focus on shifting our society to one of love, forgiveness and gratitude. I realized that I could start it with me. I have been working with ho’oponopono for myself and others these last few months to help create a positive change within me. It is based on taking 100% responsibility for what shows up in life — not blame — responsibility. You can read more about this by searching the internet on this topic — they explain it better than I do.

In listening to Edwene Gaines also, she talks about the importance of shifting from blaming others into problem solving, i.e., when something happens like an oil spill instead of the first response being who to blame, instead the first response should be how to fix it and not have it happen again.

Love, forgiveness and gratitude are so powerful and we can harness these to create a better society. I am writing today to challenge all those who read this to do what they can as individuals and, if they have a group that will participate to start some kind of daily practice that focuses on these qualities in ourselves, others and our society. It can be daily prayers, ho’oponopono or any other practice. If you find a particularly powerful one, please let me know. Also, please discuss this concept with others in your life.

Let’s start a movement towards creating a better you (and me) and affecting positive change out in the world.

What Are You Choosing in Your Life?

Lately I have been thinking about this topic a lot as I have been experiencing a major opportunity for growth. It has been interesting because it has helped me realized how much fear I have been holding on to and also holding on to mistakes from the past. I have done a lot of work on myself and frankly, I have been quite surprised to see how much more there is to do. During this time, I have been guided to different healing modalities, different books and different people who have been part of my healing journey.

I am attempting to choose love and living in the present moment each moment of the day so far, it has met with limited success. However, we are all works in progress and I am so thankful for the people and information that has come to me to help me learn to be better at choosing love and gratitude. Those are the messages that have been coming the strongest and this is my goal to consciously choose to live from a place of love and gratitude most of each and every day as that is where true happiness in life comes from.

I have been thinking about this subject a lot lately. I have been hearing from a lot of people that they are really struggling for various reasons right now. Some have said that things that they thought were cleared from the past have shown up to show them that they have not cleared. Whatever is going on is keeping us either in the past or in the future and not in the present moment.

When we choose love, we are choosing the present moment. Each and every day I try to remind myself to show appreciation and gratitude for what I have in my life and when I get stuck either in past or future, I do my best to release this. EFT is a wonderful technique that can help a lot in the moment. Naming what you love can also be of benefit. There are many simple things that can help.

However, you may find yourself needing some other form of help such as therapy, Resonance RepatterningTM, EMDR, and many other wonderful healing modalities out there. Just know that you are not alone and there is help available to move you forward in your life.

This another posting of Patrice Walker’s that I enjoyed. I always tell my clients (and I have to remind myself) that we really do not have much control over what happens in our life. There are certain goals and things that we can head towards, set an intention for and what unfold, however, if we let go of the illusion of control, then things happen even more magically.

“One of the biggest lessons I’ve had to learn in this lifetime is trusting that all is well and to let go of the need to control how and when a desired outcome unfolds. This kind of control, as we all know, simply isn’t possible.

Why?

Because our conscious minds are limited, a mere fraction of the Infinite Mind that is and knows EVERYTHING. We can’t possibly be aware of all of the intricacies involved in bringing about a desired outcome or how long it will take for that outcome to unfold.

Fortunately, however, because we are inseparable aspects of Infinite Mind, integral parts of the Whole of Creation, we have access to this infinite knowledge through our intuition which, if we allow it, will direct our steps toward the “perfect” unfolding of our desire.

Therefore, when we wish to manifest something, we joyfully do what we can do and then surrender the rest to the Infinite Wisdom of Source, trusting that what we desire will manifest in the “perfect” way and form and at the perfect time.

Trust and Faith

I have a friend on Facebook by the name of Patrice Walker and she wrote the following which I want to share with more people out there. I have been having my own issues with trust and faith this past month for some reason. I know that things have shown up magically and out of the blue when I have let go and trusted that it would happen.

“For me, trust and faith have very similar meanings, and I often use
them interchangeably. In fact, one meaning of trust is “having
confidence or ‘faith’ in something.”

That definition brings to mind a quote from the Bible that defines an
aspect of trust or faith that used to perplex me, and it wasn’t until
recently that I finally came to understand its meaning.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1)

In other words, there often isn’t yet physical proof of that which you
trust or have faith in. But “evidence” implies that something actually
exists; “substance” does as well. In this context then, trust or faith
is that unshakable belief that literally pulls that which we trust or
have faith in, into physical existence.

Has there been something in your life that you trusted or had faith in
that didn’t exist at the time, but your trust or faith was strong
enough to sustain you until it did?

How has trust/faith served as a bridge between “a thing hoped for” and its realization?

Love or Fear?

I have been having lots of discussions with various people about love and fear the past few weeks. Some people say there are only two emotions — love and fear — and that the other emotions fit under either one. A lot of us are experiencing fear right now. What can we do to shift to love in our daily lives? I have been listening and reading many things that help me raise my vibration closer to the love side. It can be difficult when I am in fear to do this step. However, there are many modalities that help me do this — such as Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Resonance RepatterningTM, and others. The following quote I really enjoyed so I am sharing it.

“Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. A Way to Solve Problems

The following has been coming up a lot for me in discussions either for myself or for my clients in the past couple of weeks so I thought I would share it. The following comes from http://www.hooponoponohelp.com/:

a way to solve problems
Ho’oponopono (Ho oponopono, Hooponopono) is a process for solving problems. But ho’oponopono does more than just solve problems – it’s a means for getting aligned with existence. This might sound complicated or “out there” and maybe it is, but ho’oponopono isn’t necessarily easy to put into a neat little package. The truth is, ho’oponopono is both simple and complex. Most important of all, ho’oponopono (ho oponopono, hooponopono) is a big help.

If you were looking for the key aspect of ho’oponopono, it’s probably this: everything comes from you. Within ho’oponopono this is often referred to as 100% responsibility, and it means that every problem you experience is happening because of you. It’s a safe bet that ho’oponopono wasn’t intended to win popularity contests, because telling someone they are responsible for every problem that’s experienced is a sure way to meet up with some strong resistance and also rejection.

Though it is often held up as a virtue, individual responsibility is almost never meant to convey absolute individual responsibility. In fact, some people who are heavily into the idea of responsibility will place blame on others very quickly. This may seem completely reasonable to these people and to many others too; but placing blame like this is in opposition to the ho’oponopono (ho oponopono, hooponopono) belief system. In ho’oponopono the problem is never with someone else – it’s in you.

Can a person not accept 100% responsibility and still practice the ho’oponopono method? Yes. But the belief here is that seeing circumstances as being caused by external events, while at the same trying to use ho’oponopono, is neutralizing the method’s effects. You simply can’t apply ho’oponopono in full, and probably not even close to full, if you’re looking external for causes. Responsibility is too key to how ho’oponopono works.

For those who might reject ho’oponopono 100% responsibility, it may help to know that 100% responsibility in ho’oponopono (ho oponopono, hooponopono) is not the same as blame. You don’t need to blame yourself for problems – just know that problems you experience are there for you to resolve.

Putting ho’oponopono into practice is not difficult, though it can take discipline. Problems are going to come up, and maybe even come up a lot. The way to resolve problems with ho’oponopono is to use ho’oponopono and to keep using it. This might feel burdensome to some people, but sticking to it ultimately brings about problem resolution and an enhanced life experience overall. The results from using ho’oponopono on a consistent basis can be quite incredible. So how to use ho’oponopono?

Ho’oponopono can be applied through different processes. Mentally saying ‘I love you, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you’ is a ho’oponopono process. Drinking what’s referred to as blue solar water — tap water poured into a blue glass bottle and set in the sun or under a non fluorescent light for an hour or more — is considered to be a ho’oponopono (ho oponopono, hooponopono) process. The key to these and any other ho’oponopono process is consistent application. The more you put ho’oponopono to use, the more you can experience life changing results.

This has been profound in my life as well as others. If we all implemented something like this, we could literally change the world beginning with ourselves.
